Burin Restaurant & Lounge Bar works on the shore of Camp Arena Grand Kažela in Medulin, noon to 10 p.m. On the menu: the fish trio at 25 euros, scampi buzara, T-bone by the kilo and truffle pizza.
Burin Restaurant & Lounge Bar stands at Kapovica 350, right on the shore inside Camp Arena Grand Kažela, on the southern edge of Medulin. It holds first place in our guide to restaurants in Medulin and a 4.1 rating on Google with more than 770 reviews, which puts it among the most visited in the village. This text explains exactly where it is, what is eaten there, what it costs and when, in September 2026, it is worth booking.
The camp shore, the terrace and the lounge bar
Kažela is a large campsite on the cape south of Medulin, and Burin works on its shore, so the terrace faces the open sea rather than the harbour or the promenade. A lounge bar works alongside the restaurant, which means people stay on after dinner. The space is modern with rustic details and takes larger groups without difficulty; the restaurant also offers catering for family celebrations and corporate events. There is parking, and dogs are welcome.
The restaurant is open from noon to 10 p.m. The kitchen keeps to Istrian and Mediterranean tradition: Adriatic fish and local meat, and the restaurant states that most of its produce comes from family farms in the surrounding area.

What is on the menu
The restaurant publishes its priced menu on its own website; the prices below are from the July 2026 menu. Desserts range from 8 to 10 euros: pancakes with ice cream and forest fruit, chocolate soufflé, apple strudel and the Burin ice cream with nuts and olive oil. The drinks list includes Istrian Rossi and Aura rakija, and Aperol or Teranino spritz at 7.50 euros.
What dinner costs
Going by the menu, a starter, a pasta and a dessert come to about 40 euros per person without drinks; the fish trio with soup and dessert to 43 euros. Anyone ordering a whole fish or a T-bone by the kilo should count on 60 euros and more per person. Guests in reviews describe the prices precisely as "no surprises", which on the coast in season is praise.
What guests point out
Guests in reviews point out the fast and efficient service, the sea view from the terrace and the prices without surprises. Complaints concern the crowds at the peak of the season, when the campsite fills up. Anyone coming for fish goes for the trio or the scampi buzara; anyone coming with children has pizza and burgers on the same menu.
Booking, and when to come in September 2026
A table is booked by phone on +385 98 180 5681 or by e-mail at [email protected]. In July and August the campsite is full and the terrace fills from 7 p.m.; in September there are fewer guests but the evenings are still warm enough for the terrace, so it is the month for a front-row table by the sea without waiting. Most restaurants in Medulin work seasonally, from April to October, so check the opening hours out of season before travelling.
Opening hours, the location and photos are on the Burin profile on Jelo.hr. The other Medulin addresses Burin is compared with, from Antonio Toni on Sad to Salt & Pepper with its Josper oven, are in our guide to restaurants in Medulin, and the full list is in the directory of restaurants in Medulin.
