Restaurant Monte Rosso

Restaurant Monte Rosso is a family restaurant on the hill between Zelena Laguna and Plava Laguna, two kilometres from the centre of Poreč, on the way to Aquacolors. Guests from the tourist resorts come on foot or by car, and parking is available. The owner is Luka Šakota.

The cuisine is traditional Istrian with an emphasis on meat: steak, spit-roasted suckling pig, steak tartare mixed in front of the guest, pasta with truffles and fresh fish. Guests most often mention in reviews the patient and professional staff, the quality of the meat and the fair prices.

The restaurant has around 110 seats in winter and twice as many in summer with the open terrace, so it takes groups and families with children. It is open every day from noon to 11 pm. The bill is from 15 to 40 euros per person. For larger groups advance notice is recommended on 052 434 460.
