Boccaporta

Boccaporta is an Istrian konoba (traditional tavern) that Toni Draguzet opened in 2011 in Pomer marina, and since 2014 it has operated in Dolinka, outside the centre of Pula to the southeast. The easiest way to get there is by car or taxi.

The cuisine is traditional: homemade ravioli, pljukanci (hand-rolled Istrian pasta), fuži (Istrian twisted pasta) and gnocchi, oven-baked brodet (fish stew), lamb cheeks with gnocchi, tagliata, and grilled boškarin (Istrian ox) and octopus. Guests most often mention in reviews the homemade pasta, the peka (meat or seafood slow-cooked under a bell-shaped lid) and the warm-hearted owner.

Inside there is a fireplace and around seventy seats, with another eighty on the terrace. In summer there is live music from Thursday to Saturday. Time Out and Falstaff have written about the konoba. The Google rating is 4.6 from more than 4,600 reviews, so reservations are recommended, especially at weekends, on 052 506 266.
