Restoran Santa Maria

Restaurant Santa Maria began in 2003 as the Hallo Klopa delivery service, and the founders Dario Dragišić and Mario Perkušić opened the pizzeria at the end of 2004. Today around forty people work at the site on Optujski odvojak in Varaždin, outside the strict centre. The team won the Pizza Show in Zagreb in 2005.

The menu has more than 300 items: pizzas from a bread oven, the Mexican dishes they became known for, Indian specialities, grilled meats, pasta and daily gablec (a workers' lunch special). Prices are affordable: lasagne 10.90 €, carbonara 9.90 €, ćevapi (grilled minced-meat rolls) around 10.70 €, pizzas around 9 €.

It is open Monday to Saturday and closed on Sundays. It has its own delivery service and ordering app, parking and a children's menu, so there is no need to book for a family lunch. The restaurant has more than 4,400 Google reviews, and in them guests most often mention the fast delivery, the pizzas and the large portions.
